Thorough physical exam of pelvis and legs performed. Stiffness appears to originate from the hocks of each leg (R hock more stiff then L). Pelvis palpates normally, easy/full ROM in all joints except hocks. When flexing R hock, can feel a ligament "popping" over the joint in an abnormal/exaggerated manner which then leads to difficulty straightening leg. Could account for bird's ability to stand at some times and not at others? Rule out tendonitis (overweight bird?) vs arthritis vs old injury vs other. Scheduled for rad tomorrow if able.

QAR, not kicking with legs but they have excellent tone. The legs are a little stiff and they have a lot of resistance when you push them towards the body. Food: 27 g m c/u BAR, sternal in kennel, scooted away from me a bit. If bird still isn't standing tomorrow, treat as suspected spinal. Needs a follow up exam.
